Weighing In On O’Brien

I’m not going to join a facebook group, or become a “fan of” out there in the internets world, but I am coming down on the side of Conan O’Brien in this latest flap with broadcast media goons that haven’t moved on from Jay Leno. O’Brien is just better, in my humble opinion, and Leno is…well…old news. He had his run, and – frankly – he’s just not as good as he once was.

It was time for a new face, and Conan brought me BACK to a late nite programming schedule that had become all too comfortable with infomercials…while Letterman had become all too comfortable with better ratings and the inside knowledge of his co-workers underwear.

If O’Brien has to leave the Tonight Show to show the NBC chumps that they’ve lost their way..I’ll follow him-wherever that may lead.
