If It Wasn’t Likely True, I’d Be Laughing With More Tears

Democrats plan to ‘press health bill with simple majority’ despite clear indications from every angle that they need to step away from the precipice and give this more thought. I’m actually settled in to the idea that a bill no one wants, that Americans can’t afford, and that does not meet the needs of anyone other than those that think passing it might get them re-elected, is going to happen.

And, I doubt any election surprises in 2010 or 2012 are going to effect a change to this disaster, nor will any OTHER events in the foreseeable future. It DOES make me want to laugh at the desperation up there on Capitol Hill; they’re actually going to succeed in making everyone ELSE to blame (except for the morons drafting the terms of this raw deal) by insisting that everyone that’s AGAINST it are the reasons it will be as bad as it will probably be…

I can hear it now:

“If only you had been in favor of this, we would have made it suck a WHOLE lot less and wouldn’t have had to cram it down your throat to make the point that we can do whatever the hell we want whether you like it or not.”

God Bless America…where else can you get the two ugliest human beings on the planet with two of the sourest and most miserable scowls seen by innocent women and children to be in majority leadership positions in the House and Senate…and to suck so terribly bad at bending to the will of the people they are paid far too much to represent?
