Most of us, from either side of the health care debate have at least one bad thing to say about the “way” in which the Democrats got health care done. Of course, whether the matter is closed remains to be seen. In the meantime, I think it’s worth putting this out there for folks to consider:
I see the way we did health care reform as a model of getting something done for the American people. We reached for bipartisanship, we tried to find common ground. But if we can’t, it doesn’t mean we don’t go forward.
I will say this; Democracy prevailed in the debate over health care reform. The majority rules in this country, and our Majority in the three branches of Government got this thing done. Let us bookmark this video, and be prepared to use it to remind our friends on the Left – when they will have squandered their majority – that it works both ways.
Let them not complain in 2011 and 2012 when the Republicans are in the majority and, failing to find bipartisanship, they ram the un-doing of this mess down their own throats.

The wicked witch just had her 70th birthday. Well, if she can’t be beat in the election, eventually even the mighty Nancy will meet her maker.
