It’s bad enough that we had to endure the suggestion that Unemployment benefits actually creates jobs… but if I hadn’t read it with my own eyes, I’d be convinced the bearer of this news was in dire need of signing him or herself up for rehab:

“What I believe the American people deserve is a tax cut for the middle class,” Pelosi said. “And without getting into procedure and timing and process, what we’re going to do is to say at the end of the day the extension of the Obama middle-income tax cuts will take place, and that’s what I have to say on the subject.”

And this, from the third in line to succeed Obama as President of the US. How can Pelosi, with a straight face, suggest that extending existing cuts is the same as giving new ones? What math class did she take that I might have missed on my way to unemployment and poverty? Is it because she has no clue what effects her agenda has had on America?

Apparently, there are those even within her own party that would have her step down and get out of their way. Can’t say that I disagree with that suggestion but it’s an increasingly safe bet that the electorate just might take that option off the table for them.

The Democrats “got healthcare done” only to find themselves running away from it in the hopes of improving their chances in November. Their party leader wants to raise taxes to pay for all of their insanity, and they are now running away from THAT idea as well.

This election is shaping up to be the ultimate in entertainment. I already have my Pelosi calculator on back-order…heck, by November 3rd I might have created or saved enough money to actually open a bank account.
