Again-it’s an interesting dynamic this year that brings us to winning races on the basis of quality of candidate and policy stance versus quantity of bank account. America really IS working to take this country back from the elites and the power brokers and put it in the hands of “we, the people” and we’ll be all the better when that day finally comes.
Illinois held their primaries on February 2. On the Democrat side, they went with Dan Seals (barely won by 2 points). On the GOP side, they went with Bob Dold.
A number of polls listed over at DC Political Report indicate Adams is well ahead of Kosmas and our old friends at CQ Politics appear to agree(calling this race “Leans Republican”), all of which ties nicely with the Wiki wrapup of House races that indicates this race is all but over…all BUT over.
Like Grayson, Klein was a no on banning Federal funds for abortion, a yes on TARP, yes on Cap & Trade, and yes on the Stimulus and Health Care bills…and like Grayson, Klein has got to go.
So-called Progressive politics has taken this country down the wrong road these past two years, dividing the nation across party and ideological lines…race cards thrown around like lit match sticks, and class warfare incited wherever a handful of votes might be drawn from the ashes…and the country is all the worse off because of it – and because of Political Heroes like Alan Grayson.
What will be more worth watching in the days after the General is not whether Rubio wins…but how Crist treats him, and his fellow Floridians, after the fact.
If I were asked to choose between a teenage O’Donnell’s naive and youthful curiosity of oddball subjects such as masturbation and witchcraft and the college-aged coke-snorting weed-toking anti-Americanism of our now-Commander in Chief…I’ll take 100 O’Donnells any day.
How, exactly, can you vote in favor of these Federal boondoggles and still call yourself fiscally restrained while simultaneously keeping a straight face? And do we really need more “Yes” men (and women) up there in DC just now bowing before the anointed one? I say no.
Conservatives and Republicans don’t always agree…but on Fiorina there is a comfortable truce.
The biggest news is the dollar difference between Giffords and Kelly: 1.9 MILLION to Kelly’s 80K. Really? How does such an advantage result in a near dead heat? Perhaps because money doesn’t make a politico right on the issues that matter most to their constituents.
