As happy as Florida might be with itself right now over grabbing a few headlines, Iowa and New Hampshire have been put in a really tight spot.

Are we happy with the decision to put a guy in charge of a troubled country at a time like no other in modern history whose only understanding of “governance” was that he was a self-proclaimed expert at knowing how it looks when it’s not working?
In this latest kerfluffle between those who govern and those who despise them for how poorly they are doing so, how much, really, did the “Official” Tea Party (which doesn’t actually exist) directly effect American Governance?
It’s great good fun to be pissed off, get some headlines, and help get people elected…but if that is your end game, and you have no plan for how to “govern” once you get them there, then all you’ve accomplished is to wind up irrelevant, and make [gulp, retch] Maureen Dowd right.
