If a fight must be waged, let it be waged in Pembroke…ultimately we will find out whether the NH Supremes believe it is up to the will of the people to determine how Teachers are compensated for their performance, or if that decision is best left to the Legislators in Concord (after a bevy of lobbying efforts from Teacher’s Unions all around the State seeking to line their OWN pockets).
The UL piece indicates that, after a hearing before the PELRB, the case will likely continue (regardless the outcome) all the way to the NH Supreme Court. I hope it does; rewarding Unions for blackmail and paying them to hold out for things their employers can not afford is no longer tolerable.
I would like to remind folks, however, that we live in truly wonderful and delicious times when the party that runs our country is made up of such outstanding members of society, with all the care and empathy and worry for their fellow man of a serial killer, that it would even occur to them to wish for someone else’s death (or revel in the notion of it).
I just can’t help but wonder what Guinta will say to us when, after he’s elected, he finds himself having to go along with something he’ll blame the House Leadership for having made him vote in favor of. I’m just not sold on whether Guinta is a leader…or whether he’s going to just go along to get along. If it’s the latter, we won’t be any better off for having given him those 2 years in DC he wants so badly…
