Like you, Haystack, I'm no fan of getting hit by someone else's just rewards. Got enough of my own to pay for without toting the burdens of some other miscreant. As to Obama's choice of getting all Christiany at this point, when it would have served him better to be a REAL Christian a long time ago, and it would have been a real blessing to the country had he been one, Barrack is courting immortal disaster by doing so in this manner and for this particular reason. The fact that he finds it convenient now-- because the polling shows that he's losing all kinds of support from Catholics, Jews and religious folks of all persuasions-- is just more proof that he's another politician looking to keep his nest feathered, not a soul looking to explain his actions.

Personally, I hate the man and the square footage he stands on. Which is not in the least Christian of me whatsoever, but I trust my Maker to chastise me fairly over that point and then move on. What I DON'T expect my Maker to do is to nod approvingly at a baby-killing, lying, selfish, oath-breaking narcissist who thinks it's just peachy and fair game to use the name of God's own son as a campaign prop. He's going to hell, you know. On a high speed train. The kind that makes Slow Joe's heart go pitty-pat. Ta-ta, O!
